Scholarship Winners

Federated provides two scholarship programs each year.

1. Federated awards two $1,000 Basin/L&O scholarships to the son or daughter of two Federated members. Basin/L&O are wholesale power suppliers. The high school senior or college student with a year remaining must complete an application, essay and references. This winners for 2012 are Dustin Johanson, Elmore and Benjamin Gratz, Fairmont.
2. Operation Round Up scholarships: Federated awarded seven $600 scholarships to sons/daughters of Federated members who are high school seniors. This is the 14th year of Operation Round Up Scholarships. The winners are:

Through Operation Round Up, a $600 scholarship is awarded to Minnesota West Community & Technical College in Jackson, MN. Preference for the scholarship award goes to a Jackson County or Martin County student in the lineworker's program.
